THE 10th CRESSE SUMMER SCHOOL - June 27th to July 10th 2015


The Summer School provides a comprehensive account of the most up-to-date developments in economic theory, empirical analysis and legislation in Competition Policy and Sectoral Regulation. The content is largely non-technical and case-study based and is organized in nine self-contained Modules of 16-hour (maximum) duration.

THE 2nd CRESSE LAWYERS WEEK - July 5th to July 10th 2015

Course on "The Role of Economics in Competition Law and Practice"


Following the successful organization of the CRESSE Summer School for nine consecutive years, and the successful organization of the 1st CRESSE Lawyers' Week in 2014, CRESSE also organizes the 2nd CRESSE Lawyers' Week. The CRESSE Lawyers' Week is targeted to lawyers, enforcers and judges working in competition law or any other field of law where the knowledge of economic theory is important. The Course will be on "The Role of Economics in Competition Law and Practice" and will be taught in 16 sessions of 2 hours each (32 academic hours in total) by some of the foremost competition economists in the world.

Number of Sessions of the Conference will be co-financed by the European Union (European Social Fund - ESF) and Greek national funds through the Operational Program "Education and Lifelong Learning" of the National Strategic Reference Framework (NSRF) - Research Funding Program: ARISTEIA - CoLEG.

The CRESSE Conference, excluding the sessions funded by ARISTEIA-CoLEG, is self-financed and it is organized and administered by the Athens University of Economics and Business through its Research Center (ELKE) that is devoted to the administration of AUEB Faculty projects and the Organization on International Conferences.
