Athens University of Economics and Business participates in the organization of the International Conference on Applied Business and Economics at the University of Piraeus - ICABE 2011 (29/9-1/10/11)

Athens University of Economics and Business, University of Piraeus, Technological Educational Institute of Kavala, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Loyola University Chicago, University of Coruna, European Research Studies Journal, Technological Educational Institute of Crete and the FBBank jointly organize the International Conference on Applied Business and Economics (ICABE), which will be held from Thursday, September 29th to Saturday, October 1st, 2011 at the University of Piraeus (Karaoli and Dimitriou 40 Piraeus), Greece.

The ICABE 2011 will be the gathering place for academics and professionals from related fields from all over the world.

The main goal of the ICABE 2011 is to provide an opportunity for academics and professionals from a variety of fields to meet and exchange ideas and expertise. An additional goal of the ICABE is to provide a place for academics and professionals with inter-disciplinary interests related to business-economics to interact with members within and outside their own particular disciplines.

Special sessions for graduate students (MSc and Ph.D candidates, with 50% discount in the registration fee) have been scheduled during the last day of the Conference with 3 of the best papers to be published in one of the 4 international journals participating in the conference according to the publishing requirements of each journal. The best 3 papers will be selected by the Scientific Committee of the Conference and they do not have to pay the registration fee.

Selected papers will be published in one of the following international journals participating in the Conference according to the publishing requirements of each journal:

  1. European Research Studies Journal (selected papers will be published in Vol. XIV, Issue 4, 2011, and Vol. XV, Issue 1 2012).
  2. International Journal of Computational Economics and Econometrics (selected papers will be published in the issues of 2011 and 2012).
  3. International Journal of Economic Sciences and Applied Research (selected papers will be published in the issues of 2011 and 2012).
  4. International Review of Applied Economic Research (selected papers will be published in future issues).
