The 13th Conference on Research on Economic Theory and Econometrics will take place at Milos from July 13 through July 17, 2014.

This summer school involves invited faculty and PhD candidates from Greece and abroad, in various areas of economic theory and econometrics. The first meeting took place in 2002 and the series has since been continued each summer.

This year the set of invited participants includes C. Pissarides (LSE and University of Cyprus, 2010 Nobel Prize), C. Waller (Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis), J. Geanakoplos (Yale), H. Hopenhyun (UCLA), J. Cvitanic (Caltech), G. Giovannetti (Firenze and EUI), R. Marimon (EUI), A. Monge (Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis), P. Rey (Toulouse School of Economics), K. Saggi (Vanderbilt), E. Spolaore (Tufts), J. Valimaki (Aalto University), among several other distinguished guests. The program also includes several presentations by advanced PhD students and junior faculty.
