AUEB's MBA International Program named finalist for the

Association of MBAs (AMBA) Innovation Award 2013

ΜΒΑ International at the Athens University of Economics and Business has been shortlisted as one of three finalists for the Association of MBAs' (AMBA) "Innovation Award 2013". The other two finalists are Grenoble Graduate School of Business, France, and Porto Business School, Portugal.

Now in its third year, the MBA Innovation Award gives AMBA the opportunity to acknowledge the contribution of accredited business schools that introduce innovative and original new practices to their MBA programs.

The MBA International progra's entry presented the e-skills curriculum that has been recently incorporated to the program. The courses (on eBusiness Marketing, SEO, Social Media, Analytics, PPC) which are offered 100% online, are the result of a fruitful industry-academia collaboration and prepare students for more than 20 new job roles, while training them to promote any type of businesses online.

Submissions were open to more than 700 MBA programs offered by 202 accredited business schools in 70 countries and were evaluated based on a number of criteria including the innovativeness of the initiative, the market response to it and the level of risk taken to launch the initiative.

The award will be presented in front of a prestigious gathering of business leaders, international deans and directors, distinguished MBA alumni and journalists at the Association of MBAs' Annual Gala Dinner in London on November 6th, 2013.
