KPMG's International Case Competition

April 6-8, 2011

Istanbul

The team Mercurius Colossus, which composed of four students - Areti Kalkani (AUEB), Nikolaos Kastrinakis (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens),

Eleftherios Psarakis (AUEB), and Vasiliki-Nafsika Tampone (AUEB) - represents our

country to the

KPMG's International Case Competition. The competition will take place in Istanbul, April 6-8, 2011.

KPMG's international Case Competition focuses on the analysis of case studies on international businesses, expansion and overall strategy. It 's a unique opportunity for students to experience the fast-paced world of casework, to collaborate

and compete in a truly global business environment, to learn, test and apply business skills, and to meet new people from all over the world.

The competition consists of four steps. At the 1st step, students apply for KICC in the University Career Office. At the 2nd step, the top 32 students are selected to take part in the local competition, and students, in teams of 4, are asked to

solve a business case in real time. The team representing Greece is being selected at this (3rd) stage. The last stage is the KICC Finals. To get there, students have to be able to think critically under pressure and challenge themselves to

come up with solutions that are innovative and refreshing.

Among the 8 best teams that competed on the 25th of February during our local finals, Mercurius Colossus managed to make the difference and get the ticket for Istanbul, where they will compete with students from other 18 countries.

Congratulations and good luck!!!
