The ISTLAB/Wireless Research Center of the Department of Management Science and Technology of the Athens University of Economics and Business is organizing, in collaboration with the University of Macedonia, the 9th International

Conference on Mobile Business / 9th Global Mobility Roundtable. The conference is the most prestigious event in the field of mobile business and will take place in Park Hotel on June 13-15, 2010.

The Conference is the annual event for academic and practitioners in the field of mobile and wireless business applications. The theme of the conference this year is "Mobile broadband as leverage for Innovation and Growth".

The 150 conference participants come from 30 countries representing some of the most established universities worldwide, namely London School of Economics (United Kingdom), University of Southern California (USA), Copenhagen Business School

(Denmark), Yonsei University (Korea), Dalian University of Technology (China), Chalmers Institute of Technology (Sweden), McMaster University (Canada) and many more.

The organizing committee of the Conference consists of renowned academics from the field of Information Systems, such as Detmar Straub (Georgia State, Editor-in-Chief of MISQ) and Vladimir Zwass (Fairleigh Dickinson, Editor-in-Chief of JMIS and

IJEC), which is also the keynote speaker in the first day of the Conference.

Seventy (70) research papers will be presented and four panels will be organized discussing emerging and leading-edge issues in the field of mobile business in Greece and worldwide. The best papers of the Conference will be invited for publication in

special issues of top scientific journals: Journal of the Association of Information Systems (impact factor: 2,358 - top-5 journal in the field of information systems), International Journal of Electronic Commerce (impact factor: 1,366 - top journal in the field

of e-business) and International Journal of Mobile Communications (the leading journal in the field of mobile business).

opportunity to access the conference program through their mobile phone, view the paper abstracts, and vote, in real-time, for the best paper award!
