Nancy Pouloudi, Associate Professor of the Department of Management
Science and Technology of the Athens University of Economics and Business has been elected Region 2 (Europe, Middle East, Africa) Representative at the
Association for Information Systems (AIS).
The AIS is an international professional association, founded in 1994 that represents some 4000 members of the information systems academic community from 90 countries.
Dr Pouloudi has to-date contributed actively to the international information systems community by taking part as Track Chair (2004, 2005), Doctoral Consortium Co-Chair (2002) and Research-in-Progress Paper Co-Chair (2009) in the European
Conference on Information Systems, as Doctoral Consortium Co-Chair (2006, 2007, 2010) in the Mediterranean Conference on Information Systems, and as Associate Editor in top journals such as the European Journal of Information
Systems, IT & People, and Information & Management. She chaired the MCIS 2009 Program Committee, achieving the active involvement of more than 150 IS researchers from twenty Mediterranean countries. Dr Pouloudi is also Acting
Secretary of the Hellenic AIS Chapter, where she coordinates the organization of information systems events in Greece, the management and extension of chapter membership, and represents the chapter in international
