The Athens University of Economics and Business, Athens, Greece, the Athenian Policy Forum Inc. (APF), York University, Toronto Canada, and Loyola University Chicago, Chicago, U.S. are pleased to announce the 9th Biennial Conference to be held in Athens, Greece, 9-11 July, 2008.
The theme of the conference will be on
“The Global Economics of a Changing Environment”
The effects of a changing environment on the global economic factors and variables, including causes and intensity, governmental responsibility and business practices, and their effect on the social core, prevention methods and implementation.
The organizers will be pleased to consider submissions on theoretical or empirical topics related to the overall theme of the conference.

The conference is the continuation of previous, highly successful conferences (http://www.apforum.org/conferen.htm) that started in 1993 with the specific purpose to develop close ties between academics from various parts of the world.
For all participants coming from abroad, hotel accommodation for three nights, will be covered by the Athens University of Economics and Business. Meals are free for all participants. Conference participants are responsible for their own travel expenses. Papers presented at the conference will be considered for possible publication in The Journal of Economic Asymmetries. The submission fee will be 100 euros.
