Distinguished Professor Dr Denise Rousseau from Carnegie-Mellon University, USA, will deliver an open lecture on "Publishing in Top-Tier Scientific Journal in Business & Management"

Professor Denise Rousseau will be delivering a lecture at AUEB on Thursday May 29, 2008. Professor Rousseau is visiting Greece on the occasion of the 4th International Congress in "Human Resource Management in Europe: Trends and Challenges", which is organized by AUEB’s MSc in HRM. Professor Rousseau is the keynote speaker of the conference. The title of her talk is “Publishing in Top-Tier Scientific Journal in Business & Management”, and the presentation will be held at the Graduate School building located at the corner of Evelpidon and Lefkados Street on Thursday May 29.

The presentation is open to AUEB faculty, graduate students and PhD candidates.


Denise M. Rousseau is the H.J. Heinz II Professor of Organizational Behavior and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University's H. John Heinz II School of Public Policy and Management and the Tepper School of Business. She is the faculty director of the Institute for Social Enterprise and Innovation and chair of Health Care Policy and Management program. She was the 2004-2005 President of the Academy of Management and the 1998-2007 Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Organizational Behavior. Currently she serves on the Editorial Review Boards of numerous peer-reviewed journals in Business & Management (e.g. Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Group and Organizational Studies, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Management Inquiry, Journal of Vocational Behavior, etc). Professor Rousseau is two-time winner of the Academy of Management's George Terry Award for best management book, and a recipient of numerous other awards, including the first annual National Institute for Health Care Management Research Award (1994); the Organizational Behavior Division, Academy of Management, Best Paper Award (2004); the Organizational Psychology track, British Academy of Management, Best Paper Award (2006); and the William J. Davis Memorial Award, Educational Administration Quarterly Best Article Award (1982).
