    The Department of Informatics of the Athens University of Economics and Business,

    the Institute of Informatics and Telecommunications of N.C.S.R. "Demokritos"

    and the Institute for Language and Speech Processing (ILSP) coorganize the 12th Conference of the

    European Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics (EACL 2009), which will take place at the

    Megaron Athens International Conference Center from March 30 to April 3, 2009.

    EACL is one of the most prominent conferences on Computational Linguistics and Human Language Technology.

    It covers theoretical and technological advances related to machine translation, spoken dialogue systems,

    information extraction from documents, automatic document generation etc.
