The 17th Annual Meeting of the European Financial Management Association in Athens (25 - 28/6/2008) is sponsored by AUEB's Department of Accounting and Finance and UOA's Department of Economics

The 17th Annual Meeting of the European Financial Management Association (EFMA) will take place in Athens on June 25-28, 2008. The meeting will be co-sponsored by the Department of Accounting and Finance of the Athens University of Economics and Business and the Department of Economics of the University of Athens.

Members and friends of the European Financial Management Association will participate in the 2008 Annual Meeting and submit papers in all areas of Finance and especially with European content or implications.

In addition to the regular sessions of academic research, the program will include panel discussions, tutorial lectures, and invited presentations. The goals of these special sessions are to enhance the exchange of ideas between academicians and practitioners, to provide a forum for discussion of special topics and to offer educational opportunities for conference participants.

A set of papers presented at the meeting will be selected by the 2008 Program Co-Chairs and will be published in a regular issue of the European Financial Management journal, in cooperation with the Managing Editor.
