Times Higher Education World University Rankings confirm for yet another year AUEB’s continued growth

For the academic year 2017-2018, the international World University Rankings of Times Higher Education placed AUEB between the 501-600 best Universities in the world. This achievement marks a significant improvement in the following evaluation criteria: research, citations, attracting teaching staff and students from abroad, and research income from the private sector.
 
On this occasion, Professor Emmanouil Giakoumakis, Rector of the Athens University of Economics and Business, said: "The international recognition of AUEB’s growth, which is manifested in the list, rewards and encourages the efforts of AUEB’s academic community towards promoting our University internationally as a center of excellence in research and education. This international recognition is an important stepping stone for our students and should be utilized for the progress of our country. "
