On May 30 2008, Ioannis Katsoulakos, Professor of Economics and Vice-Rector of AUEB, was awarded the "Outstanding Paper Award" at the Literati Network Awards for Excellence 2008, for his article (co-authored with Takis Katsoulacos), entitled: "Integrating corporate responsibility principles and stakeholder

approaches into mainstream strategy: A stakeholder-oriented and integrative strategic management framework", published in Corporate Governance, Vol.7, No. 4, 2007.

The award was given in person by Mr. Jordi Carlat, Country Manager Mediterranean Europe, Emerald. Each year the

British publishing company Emerald invites each journal's Editorial Team to nominate what they believe has been the "Outstanding

Paper" for the previous 12 months. The award winning papers are chosen following consultation amongst the journal's Editorial Team, many of whom are eminent academics or managers. The aforementioned article has been selected as one of the most

original and impressive pieces of work the team has seen throughout 2007.
