The Photography Club of Athens University of Economics and Business was created in October 2004 as a result of strong support from the University Student Club and a high level of interest and enthusiasm on the part of the students.
During the lessons offered by the Photography Club, students are taught the theory of photography and come into contact with the works of the most important photographers worldwide. In order to more effectively learn the art of photography, students visit exhibitions displaying the work of important Greek and foreign photographers and take excursions whenever and wherever possible. Students participating in the Photography Club are also able to develop and print their photographs in a darkroom that has been created for the Club. Up to now, more than three photography exhibitions have been held on the University premises displaying students' photographs.
