Phoebe Koundouri, Associate Professor at the Department of International and European Economic Studies, AUEB, is appointed the Vice-President of the European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists.

Founded in 1990, EAERE has over 1200 members in 80 countries from Europe and beyond (US, Latin America, Asia, Australia, Africa) from academic institutions, the public sector, and the private industry.

Interests span from traditional economics, agricultural economics, forestry, and natural resource economics.
