Best Paper Award for Dr. Stavros Vourloumis and As. Professor Ioannis Thanos

A research paper co-authored by Dr Stavros Vourloumis, Ph.D. from the Department of Business Administration and Dr Ioannis Thanos, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration, received the "Best Paper" Award within the subject of Strategy Process, during the Annual Conference of the Strategic Management Society, the most highly acclaimed conference in the field of Strategic Management in the world, that took place from 18 to 21 September 2021.

The paper was selected through blind peer-review process, among more than 1,200 papers that were submitted to the Conference. Moreover, it was also nominated for the Best Conference Paper Award.

The title of the paper is "Beyond the Possible: How Foresight and Imagination Shape Corporate Climate Change Mitigation Strategies", and it investigates how the strategic decision-making processes, and their dimensions, are connected to the strategies adopted by firms for mitigating the impact of climate change.
