Best Paper Award at the 34th International Conference of Information Systems (ICIS 2013 for E. Zamani, G. Giaglis and N. Pouloudi.

The paper "A Sensemaking Approach to Tablet Users' Accommodating Practices", authored by Doctoral Student E. Zamani, Professor G. Giaglis and Associate Professor N. Pouloudi of the Department of Management Science and Technology received the Best Paper Award at the 34th International Conference on Information Systems (ICIS 2013, Reshaping Society Through Information Systems Design), held in December 15-18, 2013, in Milano, Italy.

The International Conference on Information Systems in held under the auspices of the Association for Information Systems (AIS) and is the major and most prestigious event in the field of Information Systems. This year, the Conference had a record attendance of more than 1500 academics and practitioners and attracted a record high of more than 1200 paper submissions across 20 tracks, with a 27% acceptance rate.
