The 11th Conference on Research on Economic Theory and Econometrics will take place at Milos from July 11 through July 15, 2012.
This summer school involves invited faculty and PhD candidates from Greece and abroad, in various areas of economic theory and econometrics. The first meeting took place in 2002 and the series has since been continued each summer.
This year the program includes keynote lectures by J. Geanakoplos (Yale) and J. Bullard (President, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis). Invited talks will also be given by F. Canova (Pompeu Fabra), H. Kempf (Ecole Normale Superieure de Cachan), P. Teles (Banco de Portugal and Universidade Catolica Portuguesa), P.Oreopoulos (Univ. of Toronto), V. Galasso (Universita della Svizzera Italiana), D. Vayanos (LSE), F. Collard (Bern), L. Kaas (Konstanz Univ.), E. Pappa (EUI and UAB), I. Correia (Banco de Portugal and Catolica-Lisbon), among several other distinguished guests. The program also includes presentations by advanced PhD students and junior faculty.
