The scheduled lectures in the computer rooms HY1, HY2 and HY3 will not take place during the first week of the spring semester (from 16.2.2026 to 21.2.2026) due to equipment upgrades.

On Wednesday, 21/01/2026, the examinations of undergraduate study programs will not take place due to extraordinary weather conditions. The examinations of the postponed courses will be held on a date that will be announced in a subsequent notice.

Additionally, on Wednesday, 21/01/2026, all in-person educational activities of the Postgraduate Study Programs are postponed.

Hasselt University Summer School 2026: AI-Driven Data Analytics for Policy-Analysis

The Athens University of Economics and Business, in terms of collaboration with Hasselt University, informs students and graduates about the upcoming summer school “AI-Driven Data Analytics for Policy-Analysis”, which will be held from 29 June to 10 July 2026 at Hasselt University in Belgium.

The program focuses on the application of data and artificial intelligence in public policy analysis, combining academic insights with practical exposure to real-world EU institutional settings.

Key thematic areas include:

Understanding EU policy-making and evaluation processes, with workshops on impact assessments, administrative burden reduction, and regulatory efficiency.

Hands-on training in data analytics and policy evaluation using tools such as R, Python, and PowerQuery.

Visits to EU institutions and discussions with practitioners working in policy design and implementation.

Participation in interactive workshops, case studies, and group projects.

Engagement within an international learning environment alongside students and experts from various countries.

The Internship Office of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), in collaboration with the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), is organizing an informative online seminar (webinar) on the OECD Internship Programme.

Class Cancellation Announcement – Tuesday, October 14, 2025

Students and instructors are hereby informed that on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, undergraduate classes will be cancelled during the following hours:

• 09:00 – 11:00
• 19:00 – 21:00

The cancellation is due to the public transportation strikes that have been announced.

Rescheduled classes will be arranged and announced by the respective instructors.

Access to the Central Building complex of AUEB will not be possible on Thursday, February 27, 2025, due to student demonstrations.

During this period, undergraduate program classes will not take place.
