Access to the Central Building complex of AUEB will not be possible on Thursday, February 27, 2025, due to student demonstrations.

During this period, undergraduate program classes will not take place.

All scheduled undergraduate program classes are postponed.

We are pleased to announce the first Statistical Data Science and Economics Conference. 

​This series of conferences will focus on the intersection of Statistical Data Science and Economics, uncovering innovative methodologies to analyze and interpret economic phenomena in the digital age. This conference provides an opportunity for experts and enthusiasts to exchange insights, bridging the gap between data-driven approaches and economic theories for impactful decision-making.

​The conference is jointly organized by the Department of Statistics, the Department of Economics and the Department of International & European Economic Studies of Athens University of Economics and Business.

20th Summer School in Risk, Finance and Stochastics RFS-2023, Hybrid, 4–8 September 2023

The 20th Summer School in Risk Finance and Stochastics, 4 - 8 September 2023 is organized by AUEB (Departments of Accounting & Finance, Business Administration, Statistics and Stochastic Modelling and Applications Laboratory) in collaboration with the University of the Aegean (Departments of Statistics & Actuarial-Financial Mathematics, Financial & Management Engineering).

The school is addressed to postgraduate students, PhD students, postdocs, researchers and practitioners who are interested to stay informed about the latest developments in the field of stochastic finance.

We are happy to announce that the school returns to its standard operation with in-person sessions, however we decided to keep a hybrid format, also enabling the online participation.

As always, we will have the pleasure and honour of having with us distinguished academics in the field. In the current Summer School, two major topics will be presented: (a) Catastrophe Risk and (b) Topological Data Analysis in Finance. Details concerning the keynote speakers as well as the program of the school will be announced through the RFS-2023 website.

There is no fee for attending the school, but interested participants should register through the form: Online RFS-2023 Registration Form, stating their name, capacity, affiliation and including a short cv (no more than 10 lines), by 28 August, so that the selection procedure can proceed on time.

The maximum number of participants will be 40 and among equivalent participants priority will be given to those who applied first.
