About the Programme

The challenges of the 21st century have made Human Resource Management a critical parameter for survival and sustainable competiteveness and success of modern enterprises and organizations. Career prospects in HRM are continuously improving in all countries. However, the certified training of specialized personnel in HRM in Greece lags, in contrast to Europe, where it grows continuously.

Master of Science in Human Resource Management was founded in 2003 by the Department of Marketing & Communication and the Department of Management of Science &Technology of the Athens University of Economics & Business. It is the first program in this domain offered by a Greek University. It operates in two modes of study: Full-time for new graduates who are not working and Part-time for employees. It is taught in Greek language.

The main purpose of the Program is to develop special executives capable to confront the modern challenges associated with people in businesses and organizations.

Gouras Athanasios

"The MSc in Human Resource Management combines practical and theoretical knowledge in order to develop and establish in the minds and hearts of the graduates of the much-needed "HRM awareness", an element that is a cornerstone in the correct application of the labor reality".

Maria Papageorgiou

Graduate Part Time 2005-2007
"A graduate program equivalent to corresponding foreign universities. Excellent organization, highly interesting courses and highly trained teachers, always close to the students and with harmonious cooperation. I feel really lucky to have had the opportunity to attend it".

Gregory Ntovinos

Graduate Full Time 2007-2008
"In an era when the sector of education is discredited and the available relevant resources increasingly reduced, the MSc in HRM constitutes a standard, competing internationally renowned major university programs. Plus, it has a strong name in the market and certainly programs' graduates are preferred by potential employers".

Olga Kyriakou

Graduate Full Time 2013-2014
"The particular program is an opportunity for personal development for those who want to enter the HR area. The most important is that it gives you the opportunity to acquire a complete picture of all the functions of an HR department but mainly a way of thinking so that you can deal with any possible problem you might face in similar position".
