Emmanouil Giakoumakis
Emmanouil Giakoumakis is former Rector (2016 - 2020) of the Athens University of Economics and Business, and Professor at the Department of Informatics. He first joined the University in 1990.
TEACHING & RESEARCH
His teaching, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, revolves around Software Engineering, Programming Languages and Regulation in the Electronic Communications Market. His research similarly focuses amongst others on Software Engineering, Biomedical Applications, Regulation and Competition in the Electronic Communications Market and Telecommunications Policies.
