Milliou Chrysovalantou Vasiliki

Chrysovalantou Milliou is a Professor in the Department of International and European Economic Studies of the Athens University of Economics and Business. She is also a Research Fellow at CESifo (Munich, Germany).Her research focuses on Microeconomics, with an emphasis on Industrial Organization and Competition Policy.
She has recently been a Visiting Fulbright Scholar at the Department of Economics of Columbia University (New York, USA) and a Visiting Researcher at the Toulouse School of Economics (Toulouse, France). She was an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in Spain (2003 - 07).
She has served as an Alternate Member of the Hellenic Competition Commission (2012 - 17). She has delivered training programs for policy authorities and judges on competition policy issues.
She holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the European University Institute (Florence, Italy) and a Masters degree in Economics from Tufts University (MA, USA).
She has published numerous articles in international peer-refereed journals, such as the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, International Journal of Industrial Organization, Canadian Journal of Economics, Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, Economics Letters.
