Sandra Cohen is an Associate Professor of Accounting in the Department of Business Administration at Athens University of Economics and Business. She holds a MBA and a Ph.D. in Accounting from the same University. Her research interests lie in the fields of "Public Sector Accounting", "Management accounting" and "Intellectual Capital".
Her research work has been published in several ranked journals like Financial Accountability and Management, International Review of Administrative Sciences, Accounting Forum, Omega, European Journal of Operational Research, Applied Financial Economics, Journal of Applied Accounting Research, Managerial Auditing Journal, The Learning Organization, Global Business and Economics Review, Public Money and Management, International Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Performance Evaluation, Journal of Intellectual Capital, Journal of Grid Computing and Telecommunications Policy and has been presented in several international conferences.
She is a member of the Greek Accounting and Auditing Oversight Board (Greek National Accounting Standards Setter) and Co-chair to the XII Permanent Study Group "Public Sector Financial Management" of European Group of Public Administration.
She has participated in several consulting projects for both the private sector and the public sector and she has been a member of the research team in several EC founded projects (e-FISCAL; FASTER; e-IRGSP2).
