Konstantinos Androutsopoulos was born in Thessaloniki, Greece in 1973. He received the B.Sc. degree in Mathematics from the University of Athens, Athens, Greece, in 1995, the M.Sc. degree in Statistics and Operational Research from the University of Essex, Colchester, UK, in 1996, and the Ph.D. degree in Management Science and Technology from the Athens University of Economics and Business, Athens Greece, in 2003. He is currently a lecturer (elected) in "Analysis and Planning of Distribution and Transportation Systems" at the Department of Management Science and Technology of the Athens University of Economics and Business.
His research interests include: Routing and Scheduling in Multimodal Dynamic Transportation Networks, Planning and Evaluation of Flexible Transport Systems, Multicriteria Decision Making and Evaluation, Emergency Response Logistics, Transportation of Hazardous Materials, Vehicle Scheduling and Routing. His work has been published in the following journals: Transportation Research part C, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, Transportation, European Journal of Operational research, and Operations Research Letters.
