Attendance, Course Requirements, and Assessment
Attendance and Absence Policy
Teaching is conducted in person, and class attendance is mandatory. If a student’s absences in a course exceed 30% of the total instructional hours, the student is considered to have failed the course and must retake it the next time it is offered.
The 30% threshold includes absences justified due to illness (except in cases of hospitalization, where, by decision of the Program Committee, the 30% limit may be increased to 50%).
Late entry into the classroom after the lesson has begun is not permitted without the instructor’s approval. If a student is not present when attendance is checked by the Secretariat, this counts as an absence for the entire teaching period until the next scheduled break.
Under no circumstances may a student be required to retake more than three courses due to absences.
Attendance requirements and the calculation of absences also apply to the “Business Days” program, which includes company visits, workshops, and seminars organized by the program with the participation of faculty members and business executives.
The Program Committee reserves the right to examine separately any cases that do not fall within the above categories.
Course Requirements and Assessment
Course requirements may include a combination of individual and group assignments, case study analyses, in-class exercises, active class participation, business simulations, and a written final examination.
The final grade is typically determined by the written examination as well as by the evaluation of assignments, projects, and presentations completed during the course.
The specific requirements for each course are defined by the instructor at the beginning of the semester, along with a clear outline of the assessment criteria and the weighting of each component in the overall grading scheme.
