MANALIS GEORGIOS
Georgios Manalis is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business since May 2026. He received his PhD from the European University Institute (EUI) in 2021, having completed his graduate studies at the London School of Economics and the Athens University of Economics and Business. He has worked as a lecturer and researcher at the University of Edinburgh and the University of Cyprus. His research interests lie in Macroeconomics, with a particular focus on Development Economics and low- and middle-income countries, as well as applied policy research. His work has been published in international peer-reviewed journals such as the European Economic Review and the Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization.
