The Athens University of Economics and Business welcomed a delegation from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University between May 29-31 at AUEB. The Kelley School of Business is one of the leading business schools in the USA, with which AUEB has developed a significant relationship in recent years. In particular, next year we expect AUEB to become a Global Hub of Indiana University, welcoming students from the US who will study at AUEB for a full semester. The delegation was led by Dean Emerita Professor Idie Kesner, well esteemed globally for her work in the field of Strategy. Dean Kesner was accompanied by Prof. Fred Schlegel, LaVonn Schlegel, Executive Director of the Institute for International Business, and Ms. Christine Everett. Kelley's delegation explored ways to further strengthen our collaboration with AUEB faculty members, toured Athens and gave a series of lectures at AUEB open to the general public, which attracted particular interest and a significant number of questions from attendees:

  • "Enhancing classroom experience through case writing and case teaching", Dean Idie Kesner, Tuesday 30 May, 11.15 - 13.00
  • "Multiple ways to increase your research impact", Dean Idie Kesner, Wednesday 31 May
  • "Why observe and be observed? Benefiting from faculty observational reviews", Prof. Schlegel, Monday 29 May, 16.00 - 18.00
