The Global MBA Rankings highlight the best MBA programs across the world. Data was collected using three surveys; the QS Global Employer Survey, the QS Global Academic Survey and a survey completed by the Universities themselves. A total of 13 criteria form the basis of five key indicators that programs were ranked on:
Employability (40%): The backbone of the rankings is the Global Employer Survey, which asks employers which schools
selects the top 1000 Universities worldwide and then ranks their best 4000 Master’s programs. The ranking emerges from the answers to questionnaires completed by Master’s Directors, employers and graduate students. The results of the questionnaires determine the ranking of Master’s programs in 30 scientific disciplines.

U.S. News ranks the top Universities in 22 scientific fields, using different criteria and variable weights in each field. These criteria are:
Global research reputation: This indicator reflects the aggregation of the most recent five years of results of the Academic Reputation Survey for the best universities globally for research.
Regional research reputation: This indicator reflects the aggregation of the most recent five
The Shanghai List ranks the world’s top Universities in 52 scientific fields. This classification was initiated in 2017.
ARWU’s ranking criteria are:
Number of papers authored by an institution in an academic subject
Category Normalized Citation Impact from InCites database to measure average impact of papers
Percentage of internationally collaborated papers
Number of papers published in top journals per academic
The ranking compares 930 leading universities from 80 countries according to 20 indicators spanning four areas: teaching, research, international diversity, and financial sustainability. The evaluation criteria are:
Teaching (40%)
Academic staff per students (8%)
Academic staff per bachelor degrees awarded (8%)
Doctoral degrees awarded per academic staff (8%)
Doctoral degrees awarded per bachelor degrees
