Who we are
Seven Sigma is dynamic boutique innovation consulting firm based in Athens. We support private and public sector organizations in designing, funding, and delivering innovation – from R&D and investment projects to policy and capability-building initiatives.
We are looking for an Innovation Consultant, who will work on high-caliber projects for public institutions and leading enterprises in Greece, helping them design, fund and deliver impactful innovation initiatives.
The opportunity
You will be part of an experienced consulting team, and your work will typically include:
- Design and preparation of proposals for Greek and EU funded programs on R&D, innovation and investments (e.g. NSRF/ESPA, Horizon Europe, national schemes).
- Structuring and writing funding applications, including technical descriptions, business plans, work plans, budgets and impact narratives.
- Analytical work, such as technology and market analysis, benchmarking, impact assessment and performance indicators.
- Project implementation support: monitoring progress, drafting reports and deliverables, coordinating inputs from clients and partners.
- Policy and strategy support for ministries, agencies or other public bodies on innovation, R&D and investment-related topics.
- Client interaction: meetings, presentations, clarifications and ongoing advisory support.
- Contribution to the development of methodologies, tools and knowledge assets inside the firm.

What you need to succeed
- BSc degree from a top-tier university, in Engineering, Economics, Business, Finance, or related fields.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in innovation, technology or management consulting and/or in Greek or EU funded research, innovation or investment programs (for Senior profiles, 5+ years of experience).
- Experience that has strengthened your critical thinking and analytical skills, and your ability to structure complex information into clear, concise proposals and deliverables (both oral and written).
- Ability to meet administrative and reporting requirements under strict deadlines and manage multiple projects in parallel.
- Excellent communication skills, with the maturity to understand client needs and help translate them into concrete solutions.
- Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
- Excellent command of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); strong PowerPoint and Excel skills are a plus.
- MSc degree in Engineering / Technology / Innovation / Management / Economics will be considered an asset.
