Quality Assurance Unit Information On Line Sessions with AUEB Teaching Staff Successfully Completed
The two online information and discussion sessions organized by the Quality Assurance Unit (QAU/MODIP) of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) for new and existing members of the University’s teaching staff were successfully held on Friday, October 2, 2026, attracting strong interest and active participation.
The sessions provided a valuable opportunity not only to share information, but, more importantly, to foster open dialogue and exchange views on issues directly related to the quality of the University’s teaching and research activities.
The discussion focused on course and teaching evaluation, ways to encourage greater student participation in the evaluation process, as well as access to and effective use of evaluation results by teaching staff. In addition, issues related to research activity and the correct use of the Athens University of Economics and Business affiliation in academic publications were discussed.
The active participation of faculty and teaching staff added particular value to the sessions. Questions, comments and contributions led to a constructive dialogue, providing an opportunity to clarify practical issues and exchange views and concerns arising from day-to-day teaching and research activities.
The two sessions highlighted the importance of direct communication and the systematic exchange of experiences and good practices between the Quality Assurance Unit and the academic community, with the shared objective of continuously enhancing the quality of teaching and research at AUEB.
The Quality Assurance Unit warmly thanks all members of the teaching staff who participated and contributed to the meaningful discussion through their questions, comments and suggestions.
Communication and the active engagement of the academic community are key elements in continuously fostering and strengthening a culture of quality at the Athens University of Economics and Business.
