LOAN OPERATIONS OFFICER | APS RECOVERY GREECE
APS Recovery Greece is expanding its Operations team and we are looking for a Loan Operations Officer to support the administration and smooth handling of Corporate and SME NPL portfolios. ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Loan Operations Officer, you will play a key part in the daily administration of loan accounts, ensuring the accuracy of data, documentation, and processes. You will work closely with Case Managers, Legal Operations, and other internal teams, supporting decision implementation, documentation updates, and the overall operational workflow.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and verify customer documentation such as contracts, agreements, and collateral files.
- Execute approved decisions and settlement terms for debtors and guarantors, ensuring proper alignment with agreed pricing and repayment schedules.
- Import transaction data, update collaterals and legal activities, and register new collateral items in the system.
- Prepare and export debtor positions, debt certificates, and loan account statements with full accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate daily with Case Managers and the Legal Operations Management team.
- Monitor repayment schedules and notify Case Managers of adherence or deviations from signed settlements.
- Prepare new Private Debt Settlement Agreements in cooperation with the Legal Department.
- Manage the end-to-end process of Letters of Guarantee, from documentation to release conditions.
- Organize and maintain both digital and physical documentation, ensuring a structured archiving system.
- Track and update the incoming/outgoing document protocol.
- Provide operational support to Corporate and Legal Operations teams when needed.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and the Group Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Law, or a related business field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position within Banking or NPL Servicing.
- Knowledge of Corporate & SME NPL loan administration and familiarity with enforcement/legal processes.
- Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and comfort with workflow platforms & loan management systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
