The Quality Assurance Unit (QAU) of the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB) is pleased to announce that the University has achieved a significant advancement in the assessment of the Responsible Management Excellence (RME) Model conducted by the Εuropean Business Ethics Network (EBEN GR), earning the RHETORIC OLYMPIC AWARD (700–799 points) for 2026.
This new distinction recognizes the University's systematic efforts to continuously enhance quality, strengthen academic excellence, promote responsible governance, advance sustainable development, and contribute to society.
The assessment highlighted, among other achievements, the University's strategic commitment to internationalization, the development of innovative academic programs, the integration of artificial intelligence technologies and digital transformation initiatives, the promotion of social responsibility, and the implementation of modern quality assurance and governance systems.
This achievement reflects the collective efforts of the University's leadership, academic and administrative units, faculty members, administrative staff, students, and the entire university community, all of whom contribute on a daily basis to the continuous development and improvement of the Institution.
In line with its mission to foster continuous improvement and cultivate a quality culture across the University, the AUEB Quality Assurance Unit (MODIP) will continue to support initiatives that promote excellence, accountability, sustainability, and the University's international recognition.
