111th Rectors’ Conference

Within the framework of the 111th Rectors’ Conference, we had the distinct honor to participate in the 1st meeting of the Heads of the Quality Assurance Units (MODIP) of the country, which took place on April 1, 2026.

During the meeting, the presentation of the topic was delivered by the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit (MODIP) of the Athens University of Economics and Business, Ms. Ila Panagiota Ioakeim, entitled “From Data Collection to Decision-Making: The Role of QAUs and Quality Indicators in Higher Education Institutions”.

The presentation highlighted the importance of leveraging data not merely as a recording tool, but primarily as a fundamental pillar for strategic planning and the continuous enhancement of quality in Higher Education Institutions.

The meeting proved to be highly productive, featuring substantial contributions and a constructive exchange of views, reaffirming the pivotal role of QAUs in shaping evidence-based policies and supporting strategic decision-making.
