JUNIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST | SARACAKIS GROUP OF COMPANIES

If you’re a talented and resourceful Finance professional, taking your first professional steps, Finance Department of Saracakis Group of Companies is the ideal place to dive in. We’re currently in search of a JUNIOR FINANCIAL ANALYST.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES OF THE ROLE

Assist in consolidation and analysis of financial data using as a reference company’s annual targets and historical performance.
Participate in management reporting of the company’s financial performance according to the annual financial calendar.
Suggest creative alternatives and financial recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial performance.
Assist in monitoring profitability, operating expenses, working capital and ensure that all negative variances are addressed promptly.
Assist in developing financial models, conduct benchmarking, and process analysis.
Provide ad-hoc financial support on new business ventures.
Identify trends and recommend actions to the Senior Business Controller based on sound analysis.
Participate in process improvement and policy development initiatives that impact the function.
Contribute to running the Group’s financial calendar (actuals, budget, and latest estimates)
Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed about market developments in the industry sector.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics. Master’s degree in Finance or Economics will be a plus.
No previews working experience needed.
Very good use of MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
Excellent analytical skills.
Demonstrable strategic thinking skills.
Confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
Proficiency in written and spoken English.
Military obligations fulfilled (for male applicants).
