AUEB supports an extensive programme of scholarships for students, especially postgraduate students, and also provides financial support to students in return for their provision of various services that help to cover the needs of the University. AUEB provides support for scholarships using its own resources; at the same time it makes efforts to obtain additional resources from other sources, bequests and so on.

Students at AUEB – at the undergraduate, master’s and doctoral levels – are entitled to full medical and hospital care through the National Health System, provided that they do not have any other medical and hospitalization coverage. The relevant costs are covered by the National Organisation for the Provision of Health Services.
In addition, the University offers mental health counseling, which is provided by a doctor trained in counseling
All students have the right to apply for a Student Identity Card. Holders of a Student Identity Card may also qualify for a Student Discount Card – a validation on the Identity Card which entitles the cardholder to a discount on transportation and selected other services – provided that they meet one of the following criteria:

The Department of Student Affairs at AUEB provides support for the Institution’s activities with regard to:
Coordinating the preparation of lists of students with excellent academic performance who are entitled to scholarships or awards from bequests, in collaboration with the Secretariats of the Departments, and issuance of the corresponding payment orders by the Expenditure Control Department.
