RESEARCH

Born in Athens Greece. She received her B.Sc. and her Doctor of Philosophy Degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has conducted Postdoctoral studies and research in Research Centers.

Anastasia has ten years Research experience (Athens University of Economics and Business, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens) as Principal or Collaborating Researcher in Research Projects.

She has served as a Reviewer in many International Scientific Conferences and as a Reviewer and a member of the Editorial Board of International Scientific Journals. She is a member of ACM and Senior member IEEE.

Current Research interests are:

Basic Research: Quality Assessment and Improvement, Statistics, Reliability modeling, Mathematical modeling, Knowledge Based and Intelligent information and Engineering Systems.

Applied Research: Applied Informatics, Tele-applications, Web Engineering.



TEACHING

Anastasia is teaching in Higher Education for more than 20 years. She has served (Sept. 2001- Feb. 2010) as Visiting Faculty (PD 407/80) in the fields of Business Applications Programming, Digital Systems Design, Business Solutions with Software Applications, Applied Information Technology in undergraduate studies in Higher Education in Greece. She also has teaching experience in Postgraduate Programmes (Athens University of Economics and Business, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens).

She also has extensive experience in professional training in Informatics and Statistical Decision Making at the National Center of Public Administration and Local Government (1993-today) and in the National School of Public Administration (1998-today) in Greece.
