Education: B.Sc. in Mathematics (1985) University of Athens, M. Sc. in Statistics (1986) Imperial College, Ph.D. (1990) Birkbeck College.
Professional Experience:
Temporary Lecturer at the University of Crete and the University of the Aegean (1993-1998), Assistant Professor at Technological Educational Institute of Crete (1998-1999), Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics of the University of the Aegean (1999-2001), Associate Professor at the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science of the University of the Aegean (2001-2004), Associate Professor at the Department of Financial and Management Engineering of the University of the Aegean (2004-2009), Associate Professor at the Department of Statistics of Athens University of Economics and Business (2009).
Research Interests:
Applied Probability and Stochastic Operations Research, Markov decision processes, Population models in Epidemiology and Ecology, Maintenance and Replacement Models, Control of Queues, Logistics.
