Lambros Pechlivanos is Assistant Professor, Department of International and European Economic Studies, Athens University of Economics and Business.
Born and raised in Thessaloniki, I attended highschool at the American College of Thessaloniki ?Anatolia?. In 1989, I got my university degree in economics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and then moved to Boston to pursue postgraduate studies at Boston University, from where, I was awarded, in 1996, a Ph.D. in Economics.
For the next two years, I was a Marie Curie Fellow, and worked as a research associate at Institut d?Economie Industrielle (IDEI) in Toulouse, France. Between 1999 and 2002 I worked as a research fellow at the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE).
My research interests include: economics of information and organization, contract theory, industrial organization, corporate finance and public finance. My research has been presented in several conferences and appears in various economic journals.
