Irene
Chiotis –Leskowich
holds a BA in Psychology and English Literature from Rutgers
University, New Brunswick, NJ,
an MA in English Literature from the University
of North Carolina at Charlotte, NC, an MPhil in Victorian Literature and Culture from Drew University,
Madison, NJ,
and a PhD in Victorian Literature from Drew University.
Madison, NJ. She currently has earned a MSc in Marketing and Communication
with New Technologies from the Athens University of Economics and Business.
She
was lecturer at Monmouth University, NJ, for nine years where she taught Academic English
and Literature as well as being the Director of the Writing Center.
After having moved to Singapore
she was appointed Chairwoman of the English Department at Overseas College
in Collaboration with California
State University
at Dominguez Hills and was appointed editor of the academic journal
Awareness-A Journal of the Association of Women for Action and Research. In
2002, after having moved to her homeland Greece,
she taught Academic English at the Aegean
University in Rhodes.
During the spring of 2003 she was elected to the Athens University of
Economics and Business where she teaches International Speech Communication
and International Commercial Correspondence. She has published in numerous
international periodical and has presented papers in many international
literary conferences. She is the author of two books: International
Commercial Correspondence (2007) and Speech Communication in the Global
Workforce 2005.
